Over the past 18 years, I have gained experience and knowledge as a physiotherapist, strength and conditioning coach, as well as a former professional athlete.
At the age of four, I was diagnosed with hip necrosis, and the chances of being able to move normally without surgery and an artificial hip were very small. After spending two years in the hospital (from the age of 4 to 6) and six months in a rehabilitation center, the hip socket regenerated on its own, after which I was able to walk again without surgery. It was a very difficult time for a small child, both physically and mentally, especially because I was separated from my parents. But, believe it or not, even at that age my determination to walk again remained unshakable.
At the age of six, still in the recovery process and walking with crutches, I played football. Shortly after, when I was able to walk normally, I not only continued playing football but also started running and won several children’s marathons. In my teenage years, I faced problems with flat feet and scoliosis.
Throughout my football career, I suffered numerous injuries: quadriceps tears, fractures of fingers and nose, two knocked-out teeth, various knee injuries, a rib fracture, problems with the sciatic nerve, and a shoulder dislocation.
Later, I was diagnosed with a rare skin disease – hidradenitis suppurativa, also known as acne inversa. For more than 10 years I underwent unsuccessful treatments, and my immune system was in very poor condition due to the constant use of antibiotics, corticosteroid creams and injections, as well as numerous skin surgeries.
When I realized that none of the available treatment methods brought lasting results, I decided to completely change my lifestyle. I began educating myself about nutrition and overall health, and started changing my old habits.
That is why my goal is to teach and motivate others to take care of their health and well-being, and to critically evaluate the information they receive from television or the internet, instead of blindly believing everything.
Alongside physical experiences, my life was also marked by a profound emotional tragedy. I lost my mother (who had cancer) when I was only ten years old, which further motivated me to dedicate myself to medicine and to develop compassion for other people.
Because of this, I gladly worked with people who suffered from various physical or psychological traumas, general and degenerative conditions (such as coma vigil, cancer, ALS, heart attack, stroke), as well as other demanding cases.
On the other hand, professional sport and my love for sports motivated me to work with professional athletes and children involved in sports.
With you, I want to share valuable knowledge about the functioning of the human body, healthy nutrition, and the importance of self-confidence and psychological stability.
Everything is possible if you truly want it!
